Re: Saturday Sew-In for Spiritual Care -

CMH, VTA

  We meet on the second Saturday of ea. month to sew quilts for our terminally ill folks and those patients who just need some love at Community Memorial Hospital. We have a great space to sew in CMH's "New Parent Resource Center" Training Room in Ventura. The address is 2809 E. Main St.(please park around the back and enter through the rear door); Hours: 10:00-4:00 or whatever time you may give.  Just bring your sewing machine, rotary cutter, ruler and mat. We have ironing boards.

Please call the shop if you are planning to volunteer, so we may have space and a kit ready for you.

Our Pillowcase Sew-In for the Troops was a GREAT success - 80 pillowcases are on the way to the USS Nicholas!  Way to go, Quilters. Thanks to all who participated and special thanks to Debbie B., our teacher!
